MyAdMarket: November 2008 Rundown
We are pleased to announce the addition of an exciting new feature to our contextual Open Media Exchange (OME) platform. The interstitial ad format is now available in cost per interstitial (CPI) cost metric. An interstitial ad is an advertising webpage that is displayed between the current and expected destination page. Interstitial ads, just like TV commercials, make viewers captive in a message because as a user navigates between pages, the interstitial ad boldly presents supplementary information regarding your product or service. Interstitial ads are slightly intrusive and therefore should be fast to load and should generate some fast moving interest. Interstitials have high response rates, translating into higher user action than many other formats of online advertisements.
MyAdMarket is a leading provider of contextual ad management solutions, and will continue to deliver value which seeks to increase our clients’ competitiveness in the marketplace. How to deliver interstitial ads using MyAdMarket’s Contextual Open Media Exchange Platform
Admins – In order to activate the CPI interstitial ad feature, log in the system with your admin account, and select Ad Types and Default Banner from the left menu bar under Admin Menu. Next, select ad type / format. In the following window, make sure the CPI box is checked. The CPI interstitial ad feature is now enabled.
Advertisers – To create a new CPI interstitial campaign, ensure that you have sufficient funds before creating a new campaign. Then, log into the Advertiser Area, and select Create new campaign. In the next window, select CPI from the Campaign type drop-down menu, and follow the rest of the wizard. You have now created a full-page interstitial ad. Once an admin approves your creative, publishers can instantly copy and paste the code into their website and begin communicating with potential leads.
Publishers – To deliver interstitial ads, log into the Publisher Admin Area, and select Get code from the left menu bar, titled Quick Links. Next, click on Get Code under the Action column for the desired site. Select the interstitial ad type and follow the next steps to complete the wizard. The code will be generated at the end of the wizard; simply copy and paste the code onto your website to deliver ads and generate income!
